Google My Business also known as GMB is a free social media profile for your business that includes Google Maps and local search results. When this profile is set up and verified your customers will start seeing your business in their local searches. GMB also has a status post feature similar to other social media platforms, that allows you to post updates and sales that searchers will see under your profile .

Just having your local business categories entered in GMB, will get the ball rolling.
